Most of the time, I baked sweet bread with filling but this week trying a savory ones made with my trusted bread recipe . . . This Braided Masala Bread is a small buttery bread, braided and stuffed with onion, green chili and cilantro. The filling compliments this lovely loaf perfectly. It is braided from three strand of dough, a similar fashion how you braid your hair. If you have a mixer or bread machine, the process is even easier because these gadget knead the bread for you. But if you don't have them, no worries, kneading with your hands is perfect and a good workout too. A Japanese rocket lifted off Tuesday and successfully put the national space programmes first commercial satellite into orbit, officials said, as Tokyo tries to enter a business dominated by European and Russian companies. The launch of the H-IIA rocket was originally scheduled at 3:23 pm (0623 GMT), but was delayed by roughly 30 minutes because a small ship unexpectedly came near the space station. The rocket successfully launched at 3:50 pm, carrying the TELSTAR 12V communications and broadcasting satellite for Canadian satellite operator Telesat. US researchers have carried out genetic tweaks to malaria-carrying mosquitoes so their offspring feature genes that block the parasite which causes the disease, opening the way to eradicating it. Previous studies in recent years had already shown it was possible to modify mosquitoes genetically so they neutralize the parasite called "Plasmodium falciparum", which causes malaria. The new study, published Monday in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, marks an advance in a gene-editing technique called Crispr. It involves inserting parasite-blocking genes in the DNA of Anopheles stephensi mosquitoes, which are a leading vector of malaria in Asia, to ensure that these genes are passed on to the bugs� offspring.
